My wife really wanted to visit the PW Mercantile, so on her 50th birthday, we had a road trip from Going to the Mercantile is an adventure. It is fun to eat in the restaurant and shop in the store We went to see The Mercantile , lots of fun nice things. Then we asked one of the sales people if we could go see her ranch , but unfortunately they were filming so we could not see it.

Yes we were bummed , coming all the way from Montana YES , it was Ree herself, I said hey you , we came all the way from Mt to see you and your ranch, Her response was , I'm sorry we are filming She is sooooo sweet , genuine kind. We stopped for lunch on an extended road trip. Service in the restaurant was excellent, food was great. We both had sandwiches, but my turkey bacon club was so big it provided me with dinner also.

Homemade potato chips were an unexpected treat. I was expecting to get ripped on price but was surprised by the reasonable prices. I will stop again if in the area. The menu had a great variety of choices at good prices. We found that each meal was actually enough for two people, so we each ended up with a doggie bag to take home. My only complaint was that our waitress named Cinnamon was not very attentive.

The adjoining shop is fun to browse, with a variety of western decor items as well as cooking items. I'm looking forward to returning in the spring, with my husband in tow.

Came here on Valentine's and waited only about 20 min to be seated. Service was great, sat near the kitchen and it was fun to see them work. We ordered the Big Bad Nachos and chicken quesadillas. Drinks were raspberry lemonade. Everything waa scrumptious. Took home some bakery items for Valentine's day.

The knock you naked brownies are so delicious and rich. I recommend coming as soon as you can. Have eaten breakfast and lunch there and both were outstanding. Biscuits at breakfast were great and the gravy had plenty of sausage in it.

Chicken fried steak for lunch large and meat better than most. Would definitely go back. Worth a stop when near Pawhuska. We traveled from Wichita KS to Pawhuska OK is a two hours drive but is worth it, the food is fantastic I had chicken quesadilla and my husband the fried chicken sandwich very fresh then we went horsies ana had a cappuccino with macaroons and it was delicious the owner is Food network chef Ree Drummond the red hair lady!
