If you are not eating gluten, I would think that means you need to avoid gluten for health reasons. Here you go. I would just like to say a big thank you to you, and all of those who comment on the blog. I was just recently diagnosed via endoscopy, with the blood test several months before that showing very high anti body levels there was a waiting list to get the endoscopy, hence the delay.

Having some good and honest advice has made the whole experience a lot less daunting. When I read this blog, it makes me smile and although I wish everyone healing, energy and recovery - it is just so nice to feel normal for a few minutes every day! Thank you, thank you! You have brought us laughter, information and a safe place to rant and vent. You have created a place where we can let it all hang out, and just be ourselves. We all know there is worse than this. For more than 60 years, IHOP has innovated around its namesake and today marks another milestone for the brand with the addition of gluten-friendly Buttermilk pancakes to the menu.

Well, we went here to eat breakfast and everyone else's food was good, BUT I was told my food was gluten free…. NOTE: when they say they have "Gluten Free" items, what they really mean is: they have hash browns that are gluten free and they can make their omelets without the pancake batter in them, upon request….

These pancakes are freshly made from a signature batter that blends rice flour, sugar, milk, eggs and other gluten-friendly ingredients to give guests the same great pancake experience without compromising on taste or fluffiness. The new pancakes are one of several gluten-friendly options, which include waffles and Ultimate Steakburgers. According to The NPD Group, three in ten consumers are looking to cut down or avoid gluten completely.

IHOP has recently started serving gluten free pancakes, waffles, and burgers with gluten free buns. It tasted good and was very light and squishy. It reminded me of regular hamburger buns. We went back for waffles and got the pancakes to try. They were inedible. Both were heavy and thick.
